SHARJAH, UAE / RankWire.AI / – Air Arabia is set to start nonstop services between Sharjah and Gdansk on December 14, 2026. This new route will connect Sharjah International Airport with Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport five times per week. Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The addition of this route provides another direct link from the UAE to northern Poland and broadens Air Arabia’s flight network within the country. Tickets for the new service are currently available via the airline’s sales channels.

Air Arabia sets December start for Sharjah Gdansk route
Air Arabia expands UAE-Poland links with five weekly Sharjah-Gdansk flights.

On Mondays and Saturdays, flight G9 0628 departs Sharjah at 4 p.m., arriving in Gdansk at 8 p.m. The return flight, G9 0629, departs Gdansk at 8:50 p.m., arriving in Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the following day. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, flights from Sharjah are scheduled to leave at 8:15 a.m., with return flights from Gdansk leaving at 1:05 p.m. and reaching Sharjah at 10:25 p.m. All times listed are local times.

Once operational, Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth Polish destination from Sharjah, joining Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport. Additionally, the airline will launch four weekly flights to Katowice starting December 17, 2026. These flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The expansions to Gdansk and Katowice will extend Air Arabia’s direct flight options within Poland beyond its current two-city network.

    Gdansk expands Poland route offerings

The new Gdansk route is part of Air Arabia’s broader European network from Sharjah. Its existing destinations include Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, and Rome. The airline has also announced plans to add services to Frankfurt and Katowice. Gdansk provides access to Poland’s Baltic coast and offers travelers in the Pomeranian region a direct scheduled connection to the UAE via Sharjah.

Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali commented that the airline is expanding its Polish network with the addition of Gdansk. Tomasz Kloskowski, President of Gdansk Airport, highlighted the significance of the direct connection to Sharjah for the Pomeranian area. The airport identifies Sharjah as a transfer hub for destinations such as India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and East Africa. Gdansk Airport serves the broader Tri-City metropolitan area, including Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot, and nearby communities in northern Poland.

Five weekly rotations connect Sharjah and Gdansk

Air Arabia’s fleet includes Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, which operate across its network. Bookings for the Gdansk route are now open through the airline’s website, call center, and travel agencies. The schedule designates G9 0628 and G9 0629 for flights on Mondays and Saturdays. For flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the schedule lists G9 0626 departing from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. These five weekly flights will provide nonstop service in both directions between the two airports.

The December 14 launch to Gdansk will precede the start of Air Arabia’s Katowice route by three days. With existing connections to Krakow and Warsaw from Sharjah, the airline’s Polish network will expand to four cities with this addition. Passengers traveling to and from Gdansk will have five weekly nonstop options in each direction according to the current timetable. As of August 26, 2026, Air Arabia continues to confirm the December 14 launch date and the five-flight weekly schedule for the Sharjah-Gdansk route.
