MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has launched its latest advanced artificial intelligence models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. These systems are designed specifically for programming, long-duration AI agents, and handling intricate personal or professional tasks. According to Meta, these models can assist users with processes such as managing insurance claims, interpreting lease agreements, analyzing financial data, and developing functional applications. Muse Wonder became accessible on October 12 via the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full was released exclusively for Muse Code subscribers.

This rollout marks Meta’s expansion into AI systems capable of executing multi-step tasks, moving beyond simple prompt responses. Muse Wonder can plan extended activities, assign subtasks to sub-agents, utilize various software tools, and recover from errors during operation. The models are also engineered for sophisticated computer use across browsers, desktop software, and mobile apps. Both models support a context window of roughly one million tokens, enabling the processing of extensive information within a single session.
To facilitate longer and more tailored tasks, Meta introduced two features: Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory maintains relevant information across conversations and retrieves details as needed for new tasks. Active Focus allows the models to persist through challenging segments, test alternative strategies, and recover after mistakes. Meta also states that the models can request clarifications from users and verify actions before execution of critical operations.
Models focus on coding and persistent AI agent tasks
Pricing for Muse Wonder is $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens via the Meta Model API. Cached input tokens cost $0.20 per million, as per the company’s developer resources. Muse Wonder Full is available only through paid Muse Code subscriptions, not separate API options. Developers with more intensive coding needs can opt for Power Usage at $50 monthly or Maximum Usage at $200 monthly.
Meta reports that Muse Wonder Full achieves top results on multiple agentic and coding benchmarks introduced with the launch. The company highlights tests such as DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon, which evaluate software engineering and long-duration coding performance. Independent reviewer Artificial Analysis assigned Muse Wonder an Intelligence Index score of 52, and Muse Wonder Full scored 56 at maximum reasoning effort. These scores surpass those of Meta’s earlier Muse Spark models, according to the evaluator.
Enhanced safety features accompany expanded model functionalities
Meta has trained the Muse Wonder series to avoid sharing private data without consent and to decline requests involving harmful activities. The models also incorporate cybersecurity tools that assist developers in identifying flaws within their code and strengthening security defenses. The company states that its most advanced models are evaluated under the Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework. Additionally, Meta plans to release a comprehensive report on further safety assessments following the initial launch.
Over approximately 14 months prior to the Muse Wonder debut, Meta undertook a broad overhaul of its AI initiatives. These new models build upon the foundation laid by Muse Spark, with training conducted at its Prometheus data center. Meta intends to incorporate Muse Wonder into more features within its Muse ecosystem, beginning with subscriber access. The October release provides developers immediate entry to Muse Wonder, while reserving the larger Muse Wonder Full version exclusively for Muse Code subscribers.
